Our company deals with the wholesale marketing of fabrics for men’s and women’s clothing.
The Rafanelli family was born as a manufacturer of fabrics, mainly in wool, in the early 1950s in the industrial district of Prato – for centuries one of the most famous areas of “Made in Italy” textiles.
In 1993 we embraced wholesale, focusing on high-quality stock.
Over the years, SARA has developed a profound knowledge of the textile products, thanks not only to the “know-how” handed down from generation to generation, but also thanks to continuous experience in the field and interest towards international markets.

The goods we purchase come from important, rigorously Italian and carefully selected textile producers.
This allows us to guarantee high standards both in terms of quality and characteristics of the items offered.
We have always turned to professionals in the textile sector, including companies, garment makers and shops. Our reference markets involve international customers. Over the years we have developed contacts with customers from all over Europe and, more recently, with Eastern European countries such as Hungary, Russia, Ukraine and Poland. Additionally, we have developed excellent relationships with customers in the Far East.
Commercial service with attention to detail
Our warehouses are located in the heart of the city of Prato, Italy, on an area of approximately 1,300 square meters. The different types of fabrics are carefully divided, sorted, displayed in sample folders and rolls in our showroom, thus offering complete exposure and thorough choice.
We’re able to send fabric samples to our customers located throughout the world.
Due to our reliability, many of our customers place the order just by seeing the samples we send.
